1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CelticJournal.cyou website (the “Site”) and related educational materials provided by Celtic Journal (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Site. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian and that they have reviewed these Terms with you.

2. Educational Purpose and Important Disclaimers

Celtic Journal is an education platform focused on drone technology, safe operation, aerial imaging, mapping concepts, and environmental observation methods for learning. Content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

  • No operational authorisation: We are not a regulator and we do not grant flight permissions. You are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable laws, rules, and guidance, including any requirements related to airspace, operator competency, registration, and site permissions.
  • Safety is your responsibility: Drones are complex systems. Conditions such as GNSS multipath, wind shear, battery temperature, magnetic interference, and sensor limitations can affect flight safety. Always follow manufacturer documentation and conservative operating practices.
  • No surveillance services: The Site does not promote intrusive monitoring of people. Our environmental and mapping content is intended for educational projects and responsible observation of landscapes and sites with appropriate permissions.
  • No warranty of outcomes: Learning results vary based on prior experience, equipment, weather, location constraints, and practice habits. Any examples are illustrative and not guarantees.

3. Service Description

The Site provides articles, guides, course-like learning pages, checklists, and resource links related to beginner-friendly drone fundamentals, safe flight routines, aerial photography and videography basics, and mapping and surveying concepts. Content may be updated, reorganised, expanded, or removed over time.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including the availability of specific content. We do not promise that any particular topic, worksheet, or learning track will remain available indefinitely.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site in a lawful, respectful, and non-disruptive manner. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or access controls.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content using automated means in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on the Site.
  • Upload or transmit malware, spyware, or any code designed to interrupt or damage systems.
  • Provide false, misleading, or impersonated information through our contact form.
  • Use the Site to promote unsafe or intrusive drone operation, including attempts to monitor individuals.

We may suspend or block access to the Site if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if your activity creates security or operational risk.

5. Intellectual Property

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
